MBBS Admission Process for Medical Colleges in Delhi

The MBBS admissions in Delhi will be organized separately for colleges affiliated with Delhi University and Indraprastha University.  


The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the seat allotment process of DU MBBS admissions for 15% All India Quota, 85% State Quota and Central Pool seats. Authority will conduct counselling to grant admission to 660 MBBS seats. 


Under Indraprastha University, a total of 5 medical colleges are affiliated out of which 2 colleges are central universities so for them MCC will conduct the counselling for all the seats. However, for the remaining 3 colleges, GGSIPU is only responsible for admission to 85% state quota seats, while the remaining 15% All India Quota seats from  government colleges will be conducted by MCC. On the basis of counselling IPU MBBS admission will be granted to 555 MBBS seats. 


In order to be eligible for the counselling process, students have to register and then fill their choices of courses and colleges. On the basis of choices filled, seat allotment and document verification will be done. By completing all processes successfully aspirants can study MBBS in medical colleges in Delhi.


AYUSH Admission Process for Medical Colleges in Delhi

The process of AYUSH admission in medical colleges in Delhi will be the same as MBBS, only the authority used to be changed. The counseling for AYUSH 15% All India Quota seats, seats in government-aided institutes, central universities, national institutes, private colleges, and 100% seats in Deemed Universities is conducted by AYUSH Admission Central Counselling Committee (AACCC). However, for admission to the 85% state quota seats in medical colleges in Delhi, the state authority will be responsible. 


As per the preferences the choices of medical colleges in Delhi and courses have to be given by aspirants. On the basis of these preferences, the AYUSH admission to the medical colleges in Delhi will be granted. 


MD/MS Admission Process for Medical Colleges in Delhi

The PG medical admissions in Delhi will be done on the basis of NEET PG and INI CET. For PG admission in medical colleges in Delhi, the authorities will conduct counselling for 50% state quota seats which are offered by medical colleges in the University of Delhi. However, for 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, DGHS will conduct the counselling.  


In order to get admission to the medical colleges in Delhi, aspirants will be required to fill their choices of course and colleges during the counselling. On the basis of choices filled and merit list the seat allotment will be done in medical colleges in Delhi. Shortlisted candidates will have to report to the allotted institute for document verification and reserving their admission.


MCh, DM Admission Process for Medical Colleges in Delhi

NEET SS needs to be qualified for admission to various DM/MCh (Doctorate of Medicine/Magister Chirurgiae) courses. Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is the authority to conduct NEET SS 2021 counselling for the qualified aspirants. 


In order to participate in the counselling, qualified candidates will have to to get themselves registered and fill the choice of courses and colleges. Only after the successful completion of the NEET SS counselling process and submission of fees, admission to various DM/MCh super speciality courses will be granted.
